Running and the outdoors have shaped who I am today. Having been a competitive runner for the past 10 years, I’ve met most of my closest friends through the sport and pursuing the sport at a higher level is ultimately what led me to choose Queen’s University.

When the opportunity to go on academic exchange came up, the desire to explore the outdoors led me to move my life to New Zealand for a semester where my passion for the outdoors introduced me to the circles I spent time with while living there. 

I have seen firsthand how running and the outdoors can build communities. The ability to connect with other people through them keeps me coming back to them. As I finish up my B.Comm degree with a focus on marketing, I aspire to pursue a career that intersects my professional skills and passions that have shaped me.
