Running and the outdoors have shaped not only the communities I’ve been a part of, but the trajectory of my entire life. Having been a competitive running for the past 10 years, I’ve met most of my closest friends through the sport and pursuing the sport at a higher level is what led me to choose Queen’s for my undergrad.

When the opportunity to go on academic exchange came up, the desire to explore the outdoors led me to move my life to New Zealand for a semester where my passion for the outdoors introduced me to the circles I spent time with while living there. 

I have seen firsthand how these activities can build communities and it’s the ability to connect with other people through them that keeps me coming back to them. As I finish up my B.Comm degree with a focus on marketing, I aspire to pursue a career that allows me to intersect my professional background with my passions.
